Make a Difference for Maddy Grayless! Maddy lost her short, 2 week battle with cancer in June and inspired a worldwide movement to do random acts of kindness. Maddy's Mighty Minions are all over the world honoring her memory.

Maddy's wish...
"I just want people to know I made a difference."

The Community Service Society is a student-run organization at Silver Creek High School in Longmont dedicated to providing fundraising and volunteer assistance to local non-profit organizations. We are currently working to fundraise for our charities in the memory of 8 year-old Maddy Grayless. Maddy wanted to make a difference and we are determined to do so.

Our members offer volunteer assistance to 6 charities, including Meals on Wheels. The Longmont Meals on Wheels provides hot nutritious meals to the older community in the city. We want to do our best to help our charities in every way possible and hold a special fundraising event for these organizations once per year.

Affiliated with the Silver Creek Leadership Academy, the mission of the Community Service Society is to increase volunteerism by establishing long-term relationships with charities to make it easier for students to volunteer. We want our members to become focused on making a difference in their community - now and in the future.

All of the money raised here will go directly to the Longmont Meals on Wheels to honor Maddy's wish.
