Background Statement
ClinicNET began its work in the late 1990's as a service coalition working with 10-20 clinics to accomplish some very basic data collection and tell a story about the essential care delivery provided by non-federally funded safety net clinics. Since incorporation in 2007, ClinicNET has been committed to strengthening Colorado's safety net by supporting Community Safety Net Clinics (CSNCs) including community clinics, free clinics/primarily faith-based, hospital residency clinics and other safety net providers. From advocating on behalf of safety net providers to providing technical assistance and education, ClinicNET's services support our vision that all Coloradans engage in, and are well served by, a health care system that advances the health of individuals and their communities.
