Davis Phinney Foundation

A nonprofit organization

The Davis Phinney Foundation is dedicated to helping people with Parkinson's live well today through our free programming, content, and quality of life research. Your generosity will help us inspire and educate people affected by Parkinson's, the fastest-growing neurological disease in the world.

Testimonials

"Shortly after I was diagnosed I learned about a Davis Phinney Foundation event. I attended with my family in an effort to learn how to take care of myself. It was fabulous! It armed me with knowledge, assuaged many of my fears and gave me hope for the future."

"The Every Victory Counts manual is the most honest, insightful, inspirational and genuinely helpful compilation of information I've seen about Parkinson's. Every doctor who tells a patient they have Parkinson's should make sure that person leaves their office with an Every Victory Counts manual. It's a support group in a book."

"For the first time in a long time, my wife and others around us were 'ALIVE.' Thanks for giving us positive things to look forward to instead of letting Parkinson's control our lives."

"I have known for 20 years that I have PD, and you would think I would know a lot. But this day has taught me so very much, and I promise I will be using it!"

Background Statement

The Davis Phinney Foundation was created in 2004 by Olympic medalist and retired professional cyclist, Davis Phinney, to help people with Parkinson's live well today. The organization's focus is to provide education and resources that offer inspiration, information, and tools enabling people living with Parkinson's to take action and immediately improve their quality of life. Through the Healthy Parkinson's Communities™ initiative, the Hispanic Community Engagement initiative, the Every Victory Counts® suite of resources, our Ambassador program, and extensive online content, the organization impacts hundreds of thousands of individuals each year.
