Support Getting G.I.R.L.S Outside!

As you may know, I am on the board of Women's Wilderness, whose mission is to cultivate courage, confidence, connection, and environmental stewardship among girls, women and the LGBTQ2+ community through year-round outdoor immersions across the West. We continually seek to improve our selection of courses in order to provide opportunities to anyone who has felt that they do not fit into mainstream "outdoor culture." By year end, and with your help, we seek to raise $45,000 to bring these experiences to immigrant and refugee girls living in East Denver in 2020. This program is important to me because I want to do what I can to help young girls who are struggling in our culture to thrive. I have seen how these programs build confidence in young girls and I would love to see the G.I.R.L.S. (Girl Immigrant Refugee Leadership Series) program help migrant girls build resilience reach their full potential. Women's Wilderness is a qualified child care facility for the State of Colorado, which means that your donation of $250 or greater, up to $200,000, to a qualifies for a 50% childcare contribution credit on your CO taxes. That is in addition to the Federal and State Tax incentives for charitable giving.
