1. Challenging attitudes and actions that contribute to stigmatization and discrimination of persons living with HIV and AIDS.
2. Decreasing fear and misconceptions by providing real and accurate information about HIV and AIDS.
3. Providing practical and pastoral support for people living with HIV and AIDS and their families.
4. Offering programs of education and services, often in partnership with other organizations.
5. Educating and training laity, pastors, and seminarians to respond positively to the pandemic.
