The impact of domestic violence on a person's life is often felt long after the victim has found safety. This impact can be seen in the victim's ability to find stable housing, employment and overall well-being. To assist victims in finding economic stability and self-sufficiency, the Crisis Center has developed an Immediate Client Need Fund for our clients who have barriers specific to resources that are not normally covered by traditional sources such as food banks, thrift stores and formal financial assistance programs through the Department of Human Services.
Through an application process, and working closely with their Crisis Center advocate, clients may request assistance to help with expenses including car repairs, emergency child care, prescription medications, utility and rent assistance, and transportation needs.
Your support for this Fund is incredibly helpful for our client's continued stability and movement towards greater well-being. We thank you for your generous support.
