The Limb Preservation Foundation

Our Purpose & Promises

At The Limb Preservation Foundation, our commitment is simple yet transformative: Empowering People. Expanding Possibilities. Living with limb difference can be overwhelming, but no one has to navigate that path alone.

Our work is anchored in three foundational promises to the limb difference community:
Help for today’s needs,
Hope for brighter tomorrows, and Possibilities for a stronger future.

Our Core Pillars

At The Limb Preservation Foundation,  Help, Hope, and Possibilities are at the heart of everything we do. Through our four core pillars—Financial Assistance, Education, Community, and Research—we provide meaningful programs and resources that remove barriers, foster connections, expand opportunities, and empower the limb difference community.

Last Thanksgiving, Sherry sought care for severe leg pain. By Christmas, she faced cancer, chemotherapy, surgery, and unemployment—with no family or support system to turn to. LPF covered her housing and utility bills, giving her the stability to focus on healing. “Fighting cancer is hard. Fighting cancer while homeless would be impossible. LPF has given me a chance to survive, heal, and return to work. I will be forever grateful.”  Sherry Watman Hall, Financial Assistance Recipient

After a devastating knee injury and a rare fungal infection threatened his mobility, Josh feared losing his leg and the outdoor activities he loves. Thanks to the expert, compassionate care of Dr. Michael Haden, Dr. Jason Stoneback, Dr. Mark Greyson, and their teams at the Limb Preservation Clinic, Josh found hope and a path toward healing. “I was terrified of losing my leg and the life I love. The Limb Preservation Clinic team gave me reassurance, a plan, and hope for the future.” ~ Josh Walker, Financial Assistance Recipient
