Background Statement
Started in 1991, the LPS Foundation is a registered, standalone 501©3 organization in sound financial condition. Its sole purpose is to raise funds for all students at all Littleton Public Schools.
The LPS Foundation has provided more than $10 million to LPS schools and has impacted more than 500,000 students since its inception.
Governed by its Board of Directors, the LPS Foundation does not provide any programs or services. Instead, it provides funding for programs and initiatives identified by the Superintendent and district leadership in conjunction with the LPSF Board that are not paid for with tax dollars.
The Board of Directors for the Littleton Public Schools Foundation takes an active role in fundraising, and 100% of our membership personally gives. The Board of Directors meets every month to oversee and implement the organization's already established policies, procedures, and strategic plans, in addition to managing the fiduciary responsibility of the organization.
