Ignite Adaptive Sports provides an opportunity for those with disabilities to participate in winter sports such as skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. It can be a life-changing experience, building confidence and providing avenues that had been previously unavailable.

Our program is growing, and we are quickly running out of space in our "temporary" trailers at the base of Eldora. Will you help us build Ignite a permanent home? If a child with impaired vision has the courage to ski, a soldier with a brain injury finds the resilience to ride a ski bike, or a mom with multiple sclerosis musters the determination to bi-ski, we can find a way to build them the facility they deserve.

I am part of a grassroots effort to raise $150,000 of the funds needed. With our host resort, Eldora, we are "moving mountains" to make sure this goal becomes a reality.

The new building will provide:

A larger, safer space for our students and the adaptive equipment they need.
A less crowded and hectic environment for those with cognitive impairments.
Direct chairlift access by way of a bridge to the lift line.
Program stability and commitment to the adaptive community, with a goal to provide 1500 or more lessons each season.

With this new and improved facility, no student will be turned away due to space constraints. Your donation will make a difference. Please donate today!
