I've had many awesome ski days over the last 47 seasons for the usual reasons: great conditions, terrain, weather, scenery, company, mountain ambiance, family moments, après ski fun or just something memorable that happened on the slopes. Joining the Ignite program last year has brought me new skiing experiences that I can only describe as really special for different reasons. Seeing the joy this program brings to the students and their caregivers, as well as to the other Ignite Adaptive Instructors, is just heartwarming every session. I'm delighted to have found this way to give something back for the joy that skiing has given me.

Since 1975 Ignite Adaptive Sports has been enriching the lives of people with disabilities by providing them access to Colorado's great winter sport of snowriding. Ignite's students range in age from 5 to almost 90 and have varying disabilities, including autism, cerebral palsy, missing limbs, paralysis, visual, hearing and speech impairments, and post-traumatic stress disorder, with many experiencing more than one type of disability.

Ignite has grown into a volunteer team of over 230 people serving over 300 students each year, and can only manage in it's current "temporary" space for another couple of years. Will you help us by contributing towards the building of a permanent home for the Ignite program? Please see more details at: https://igniteadaptivesports.org/movingmountains/

With this new facility, no student will be turned away due to space constraints and their comfort and mountain experience will be greatly enhanced. Your donation can make a difference. Please consider donating today!
