Testimonials
Dear members and board members of the ATL Foundation,
I want to thank all of you for your support to me during this time. As I told you, I was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma the beginning of July 2010. I knew I wasn't feeling well, but thought I had an abdominal strain. As it turns out, I required major surgery and have completed 4 of 6 chemotherapy sessions. Of course, this has impacted my ability to work for now, but I am gaining strength. A friend brought me your application paperwork when I was in the hospital the first time, for 22 days, and a second time for 4 days for a blood clot. Your decision to help me at this time is tremendously useful and needed. I thank you for your work on the behalf of anyone in need who meets your criteria. Since I spoke to you, I have had a PET scan which came back with no evidence of malignancy, so I am thrilled to say the least. I have 2 more chemo sessions to complete and then periodic PET scans for some time to come, if all continues to go well. Again, I thank you so much for your efforts and your support. None of us ever know when we may need others to help out and lift our spirits.
