Arvada Chorale

Background Statement

The Arvada Chorale has been singing for our city and the metro Denver community since 1977. Although we're a volunteer, non-auditioned choir, we perform challenging major works, including Conrad Sosa's Carols and Lullabies in 2023 and Mozart's Requiem in D Minor (K.626) in 2022. In December 2024, we will present Ola Gjeilo's Dreamweaver and Antonio Vivaldi's Gloria.

Your donation not only helps us put on concerts, it supports weekly rehearsals and other efforts to help singers grow as musicians and community members. Our core principles include keeping ticket prices and member dues as low as possible, while paying our part-time professional staff a living wage.

We are also grateful to receive Colorado Creates funding from the state Office of Economic Development and annual grants from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District. Thank you for everything you do to keep us going!

Harmony of Dreams: A Journey of Redemption and Praise with the Wild Beautiful Orchestra: Fri., Dec. 6, 7:30 p.m. and Sun., Dec. 8, 3 p.m., Arvada United Methodist Church, 6750 Carr St., Arvada. Repertoire includes Ola Gjeilo's Dreamweaver and Vivaldi's Gloria.

Seasons of Love, A Valentine's Cabaret: Sat., Feb. 15, 7 p.m. at the Sons and Daughters of Italy Lodge, 5925 W. 32nd Ave., Wheat Ridge. Ticket price ($90 for two adults, $50 for one) includes dessert and drinks, a silent auction, music from the Chorale and friends.

Generations in Harmony: A World Premiere with the Colorado Children’s Chorale: Sat., May 3, 2025, 3 p.m., Bethany Lutheran Church, 4500 E. Hampden Ave., Cherry Hills Village, and May 4, 2025, 3 p.m., Arvada United Methodist Church, 6750 Carr St., Arvada. We will be premiering a commissioned piece for adult and children's voices, featuring one of the Children's Chorale traveling choirs.
