"Walking in the door was just incredible. Trying on the dresses, that was an amazing experience. I never knew that a place like this would ever exist…
It was incredible that we got this opportunity, that we found out about this place so that I could find a dress and be able to go to prom." - Abigayle, Broomfield High School

Mission

Bella Boutique provides no-cost formal gowns to teens in financial need to remove barriers, increase inclusion and transform self-image through an equitable and dignified shopping experience. We believe finding the perfect gown should be a rite of passage, not a privilege.

Background Statement

Bella Boutique provides free formal gowns, shoes, jewelry, and accessories to students in financial need to enhance self-image and break down societal barriers to formative experiences. Since 2014, Bella Boutique has dressed nearly 3,000 teens with over $450,000 worth of free formal gear. Our students come in through the foster care system, with social workers, guardians, teachers or parents. While we render the services at our boutique site in the Denver-Metro area, students come to us from all over the state of Colorado, as well as surrounding states such as Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Montana. The average household income of the families we serve is less than $30,000 and 100% of our kids receive free or reduced lunch. Bella Boutique enables teens to attend milestone events; we break down financial barriers to these events so these students can celebrate among peers.
