Golden Optimists: Bikes for People Who Need Them...

The Golden Optimists Bicycle Recycle Program accepts new or used bicycles to be fixed and available to those who need one for transportation, health, and fun. The organization is entirely run by volunteers and puts more than 400 bicycles back into the community each year at low or no-cost to families, students, kids, homeless, etc. Now that the bike shop is at its new location with Connections Learning Center, we are busier than ever striving to meet the demand for low or no-cost bikes. We aim to make them reliable and safe, and replace broken or worn parts if there is any doubt.
