Our Mission
The Boulder Housing Partners Foundation helps build a more equitable Boulder by supporting children, families, older adults, and people with disabilities so that all Boulder Housing Partners residents can thrive.
We believe in housing first, but not only.
What Your Support Makes Possible
Early Learning and Family Support
Through Bringing School Home, we partner with families with young children to strengthen early learning and lifelong stability. Parents and children learn together through programs like HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) and Let’s Connect parent coaching. Families build confidence, school readiness, and meaningful connections at home and in community.
Supportive Housing and Integrated Services
Programs like Opportunity Home, Being Home, and Coming Home provide deeply affordable, supportive housing for residents with disabilities, older adults, and those transitioning out of homelessness. Each program meets folks where they are with personalized support that fosters meaningful connections, promotes stability and well-being, and helps create a lasting sense of belonging.
Community and Connection
Your contributions bring neighbors together through resident led activities, community gardening, and intergenerational interactions that connect older and younger residents. We believe strong communities grow from shared experiences and care.
Emergency Assistance
Your contributions build a Resident Emergency Fund that offers support during life events that can threaten housing, employment or well-being.

Testimonials
"I have three daughters and one son, and I live with them and my husband. I am very happy since I signed with Boulder Housing Partners. Being in this housing has really changed our lives since they help us pay less rent. But the most important part is the connection with the program coordinators. We have received a lot of help from them with information, and I have attended the programs for parents and parenting programs. I feel happy that I have learned a lot on how to have a better relationship with my kids. Before, I had a strenuous relationship with them and now I have a better one. Before I yelled when things didn't go well with them, but now I have more patience. With the programs, I truly feel different. Now I listen, and I make decisions together with my family and they are in the programs for parents and teachers. Being here has changed my life. Thank you to everyone who has participated with my family." --Program Participant

The mission of the Boulder Housing Partners Foundation is to help BHP residents pursue successful, productive and dignified lives by mobilizing resources for supportive, life-enriching, and community building services. Our vision: Inclusive and healthy communities, where all residents have access to the necessary resources, opportunities, and supports to thrive.
The BHP Foundation was incorporated in 2000 as a response to reduced funding of critical services for residents of affordable housing. The Foundation works closely with Boulder Housing Partners, the housing authority for the City of Boulder, which provides service-enriched affordable housing to more than 2,000 households in the Boulder area.
Though traditional funding channels (HUD, the City of Boulder, grants, and loans) help BHP provide its residents with physical housing, many of BHP's families need additional support and services to thrive and become self-sufficient. The BHP Foundation helps identify resources that BHP and its community partners can use to provide residents with these critical services in order to improve their lives.
