"Thanks for being here for me. I would really have been lost and had promised my husband I would not put him in a nursing home. You all really saved me. I was really in a panic, but you reassured me and got me through. For that I am very grateful and will always hold all of you with high esteem. Please continue the work you all do. Love you all!! Hospice is by far the best help out there when you have a family member that doesn't have much time left. My dad has been gone for three months now, and my sister and I still get papers from them on how the grieving process works. Hospice gives really good advice on how to grieve, and if that doesn't work, you can go to their office and talk to someone in person. I would recommend Hospice to anyone that has a family member who doesn't have much time left. They were the best group for my family in our time of need. Eldest Daughter

Hospice of the Plains began serving resident's of Morgan County when Hospice & Palliative Care of North Colorado elected to close their office in Morgan County. Since that time, the staff of the Heer & Dahl Mortuaries has gotten well acquainted with the nursing and support staff of Hospice of the Plains.
Many families have shared with us their appreciation to have a hospice organization available so that their family member can be for their final days where they are most comfortable - their home, surrounded by their loved ones in their most familiar environment.
It takes special people to work with hospice patients, and Hospice of the Plains is fortunate to have a staff of very, very dedicated employees. It is especially unique when the staff has to drive so many miles at all times of the day and night to serve families that has invited Hospice into their homes.
Thank you, Hospice of the Plains staff, for serving the residents of Northeast Colorado. Morgan County Coroner
