Local authors have set a challenge for readers across Colorado: Pick up a book on the Colorado #ResistanceReads list anytime between Thanksgiving on 11/22 and Colorado Gives Day on 12/4, and 50 percent of profits will go to charity. Kate Jonuska, author of the dark comedy Transference, will be donating 50 percent of her profits to IRC Denver - a move that the characters in her book would definitely approve. Transference is the story of a disgraced psychiatrist with a telepathic patient, and that patient just happens to be the wife of a fictional Colorado Senator. She's very involved in philanthropy and her cause of choice is refugee aid. This page is open for those who would like to support Jonuska's effort without buying a book to make a donation in the amount of their choice. Thank you for supporting IRC Denver and local indie authors!
