Background Statement

Operation Revamp (Remembering Every Veteran and Making Progress) was founded in early 2010 out of a recognized need for arts as a healing tool for veterans, active duty and military families. Art increases mental wellness and lowers stress levels.

The vision of providing a fully equipped art center for veterans and families became a reality when we were able to move into our current location on the corner of 12th and Ute in 2013.

Utilizing volunteer instructors we offer all classes and workshops free to veterans and their families. Materials and equipment are provided for all classes, for Veterans home use and for open studio.

Since 2013 we have gone through many changes and additions including the construction and equipping of the wood shop, a music room and recording booth, a letterpress print shop and stained glass studio and have added sewing, loom weaving and more.

Our mission to "Help Veterans Heal" is the driving force and has helped many veterans and families as we continue to grow. We also offer complementary healing arts, including Tai Chi, when funding permits.
