Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue, Inc. has been rescuing Great Danes and Dane mixes since our inception in 2000. We are a volunteer operated 501(c)3 non-profit organization and PACFA licensed with the Colorado Department of Agriculture.

We are a group of volunteers passionate about the welfare of Great Danes. Since our inception in 2000, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Great Danes and Dane mixes that have been abused, neglected and or abandoned. We strive to find new, permanent, and loving homes for these Danes with the end goal of lowering euthanasia rates in our region.
Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue, Inc. is a wholly volunteer-run organization that has rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed over 2000 Great Danes and Great Dane mixes. With the generous support of our volunteers, fosters, and donors, we have directly impacted euthanasia rates by providing medical care, social rehabilitation, behaviorial training, and that extra TLC that they desperately crave. For many Danes, this is their only option.
Great Danes require substantial resources and training to keep as a companion, however many Danes find themselves in need. Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue strives to not only commit to each new foster Dane 110%, but also ensure that each Danes needs are met whether they be medical, social, behavioral, etc. We continually search out ways to increase our reach to help even more Danes find permanent homes and receive the quality care that they need and deserve.
