Help Voluntad provide safe housing for human trafficking survivors.

When survivors escape their traffickers, they have nowhere to go and no one to turn to. They often have no identification, no phone that isn't monitored by their traffickers, and nothing but the clothes on their backs. They are invisible to most people, who don't even realize this crime is occurring in plain sight every day in our communities. Voluntad sees them.

We empower and assist human trafficking survivors to re-build their lives from the ground up. Voluntad provides a wide range of supportive and needed services, in a safe, welcoming, and confidential environment.

As one of the few established organizations in the state providing services to human trafficking survivors, we saw a 73% increase in requests for our services in 2021. The demand for services has been even greater this year.

For most survivors, safe housing where their trafficker can't find them is their top need. It allows them to begin the long journey to a new life. They need transportation, child care, job training, and employment opportunities to complete their journey.

Voluntad helps human trafficking survivors and their children attain safe and stable housing and economic stability through financial literacy and employment opportunities. We provide mental health and peer support so that no one feels alone or without hope. We also provide access to transportation, child care, and job training.

Our dream for 2022 is that all survivors can access safe housing and other needed services. Your donation will make it possible for us to meet this goal.
