The mission of Love INC of Littleton is to mobilize local churches to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ.
Love In the Name of Christ offers a holistic approach to caring for people in all areas of life: spiritual, mental, emotional, relational, material, and physical. Love INC seeks to be the eyes and ears in the community, while local churches are the hands and feet – serving our community with love.
We work cooperatively with churches, nonprofit agencies and county services (including Jefferson, Arapahoe and Douglas counties) to provide help and hope in our community.
Love INC of Littleton is a local affiliate of the national Love INC movement, which includes 115 affiliates in over 30 states. Love INC of Littleton was founded in 2006 and began serving the community in 2008, receiving its first call to the Clearinghouse (aka Helpline) on October 29 that year. From that point, when gaps in service were identified in the community, Love INC works with partner churches to create ministries to fill those gaps. Current ministries include transportation, diaper programs, a resale store, furniture, and life navigation.
In 2017, Love INC of Littleton expanded these first two phases, Connection Center and Gap Ministries, to create a comprehensive transformational ministry program IMPACT. This is a long-term (6-18 month), relational program for participants and their families. Each week participants enjoy a healthy family meal together, have children's programs for their kids and youth, take life skills classes, and meet with life coaches as they work toward setting and achieving goals. IMPACT participants discover a community who cares about them and share Christ's love with them. IMPACT volunteers will walk with them as they make positive changes for themselves and their families.
Love INC of Littleton currently partners with 44 local churches and serves areas of Jefferson, Arapahoe, and Douglas Counties. In 2016/17 we expanded to serve parts of Englewood. Love INC is intentionally relational and strives to help everyone…clients, participants and volunteers…achieve their God-given potential.
