What Scholarship Winners Are Saying

"The ACEC Colorado Scholarship Program had a tremendous impact on my academic life. Due to the unique nature of the scholarships, I was able to put the funds towards not only my tuition, but my housing, and textbooks. These funds lessened the stress financial burdens placed on me and allowed me to truly focus on my learning." - Theresa O'Donnell, Kimley-Horn, Colorado State University alumni

"I am very grateful to receive an ACEC Colorado scholarship. It has not only supported me financially but also academically. As costs go up for college, I am grateful for any assistance to help ease some of the financial stress. Receiving an ACEC Colorado scholarship also encourages me to continue to pursue my dreams, to focus on my studies, and gives me the energy and confidence to work hard."- Celeste Carmignani, Graduate Student, Colorado School of Mines

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

In addition to becoming more involved in student and community outreach, the ACEC Colorado Foundation began the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Firm of the Year Award.

Recognizing and celebrating firms that champion DEI aspects not only honors their efforts but also sets a powerful precedent for others to follow. This award symbolizes the ACEC Colorado Foundation’s desire to create a more representative and welcoming environment within the consulting engineering space, one that values the unique perspectives and contributions of every individual.
