Adelante empowers Colorado small business entrepreneurs through workforce training, business development, and capacity-building that fosters business growth, economic mobility, and community vitality.
Founded in 2014 by a Latina entrepreneur herself, Maria Gonzalez created Adelante Community Development as a means of bridging a gap in resources for monolingual Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs who often come from an immigrant background. Adelante has been providing the Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs community in Colorado with the access to education, tools and guidance in Spanish to establish a strong foundation in business fundamentals. With a staff of nine, the Adelante team works to meet the business community where they are – working individually with entrepreneurs to build up their unique capacity and skills required for success.
At Adelante, we are not merely an organization, but compassionate change-makers united by a shared vision of a healthier, wealthier, and more equitable future. Our four initiatives– Workforce and Business Development, Digital Skills Training, Network and Capacity Building, and Policy Advancement – form the bedrock of our approach, ensuring comprehensive and sustainable impact.
