Advance, Inc

A nonprofit organization

Advance, Inc. was formed with a vision to provide all the help required to individuals experiencing homelessness in the Aurora, CO area. Advance believes in the innate capacity for change when willing to work toward self-sufficiency; we facilitate the process of re-establishing connection with a person's unique potential. The Advance programming has created an effective ecosystem in a structured environment at four leased residential locations to provide life skills training, employment resources, and housing stability. Advance is focused on outcomes and long-term self-sufficiency.

After three years of planning to aggressively meet the challenge of reducing the unhoused population, Advance was selected by the Aurora City Council on September 23, 2024 to be the operator of the Aurora Regional Navigation Campus. On October 1, 2024, Advance assumed operation of the Aurora Day Resource Center, where guests currently receive meals, showers, clothing, and more. Advance also offers overnight emergency cold weather shelter at the Day Center location. The vision is to serve as many as 600 people daily at the Navigation Campus, beginning in the fall of 2025.

Mission

Advance provides pathways to recovery that create self-esteem, dignity, and independence for people experiencing homelessness.

Our Vision: To be a community that provides all the help required to those willing to work toward self-sufficiency; anyone who wants help will receive help.
