Almost Home Adoptions is dedicated to finding loving, responsible homes for rescued, homeless and abused animals. Excellent care and shelter is provided for all animals received. Almost Home Adoptions promotes spaying and neutering, vaccinations, counseling and education throughout the community and nationwide.
Almost Home Adoptions is a private 501c3 non-profit, cage-free, no-kill adoption center and rescue. Most cats that find their way to Almost Home are strays. We also offer a sanctuary to cats in hopeless situations. Our residents primarily come from the streets of Colorado and public shelters where they had once been scheduled to be killed. Thousands of lives have been helped since inception in November 2005. Our unique facility fulfills a variety of critical roles:
-- Adoption Center, finding loving homes for cats. The cage-free environment helps in the overall physical and mental health of the cats.
-- Sanctuary, where cats are able to live full and happy lives with the care and love they deserve. All of our sanctuary cats, those with special physical and/or emotional needs, are adoptable to forever homes; the homes that understand the needs of the particular cat and the guardian willing and able to take on and address those special needs.
-- Hospital, providing medical treatment for sick or injured residents.
-- Hospice, providing consoling care and a warm, loving environment for chronically or terminally ill cats to live our their lives in comfort.
