Angel Baskets serves low income families in the Telluride area, Norwood, Nucla, Naturita, Paradox and Dove Creek with 3 food pantries; basic school supplies; prescriptions and medical devices; and, food, clothing and gifts at the holidays.

The purpose of Angel Baskets is to provide food, clothing and necessities to those in our community who are struggling financially.
Angel Baskets was started in 1981 to help several local families at the holidays who were struggling financially. Throughout its 38 year history, Angel Baskets has been flexible, expanding geographically and adding new programs as we identified unmet needs. We have successfully established direct channels of distribution to families in San Miguel County, the west end of Montrose County and the Dove Creek area of Dolores County. Angel Baskets is an all-volunteer organization, with little overhead and no paid staff. Our 3 food pantry spaces are donated, as is our storage and holiday program space. All programs and volunteers are managed by an unpaid board of directors, out of our homes.
