Angelbotics

A nonprofit organization

Angelbotics consists of 30-40 high school students, usually from East High School. We are primarily a student-led team with supportive mentors to help us along the way.  Students learn every step to design and build a fully-functioning robot. They learn how to use CAD software to design the robot in 3D, and then machine out those parts with CNC routers, mills, and other assorted tools. After construction, students wire the robot, and then work on programming the robot to be functional. Throughout the robot construction, a group of students are also working on the imagery aspect of our team, making graphics, bumpers, and other cosmetics to put on the robot and decorate our pit.  Students also created the website using learned programming and now manage it and social media accounts.

Mission

The mission of Angelbotics is to inspire a diverse group of Denver high school students to be STEM leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation and competition as the Angelbotics Team, and that foster well-rounded life skills and aptitudes including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
