Testimonials

To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter to lend my full support to the valuable work that Articipate does for our community.
Articipate is pivotal in providing music education for all ages, hosting workshops, supplying scholarships and supporting local and regional talent with opportunities in all things related to music.
Our kids have been involved with the Wooden Rain Drops, a youth marimba group, for years and have benefited from workshops brought and funded by Articipate.
Our entire family takes advantages of their many and diverse workshops. We are also fortunate to guest appear in a show on a song or two if needed.
For a small town, Salida, we are fortunate to have Articipate and all of the musical gifts it has to bring talent, entertainment and education.
Sincerely,

Andrea Mossman

To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to express my support and gratitude to Articipate for all they have done for our Salida schools. I am a teacher at Longfellow Elementary School. In the past 2 years Articipate has provided our school district with several wonderful programs: Bones, WOW, Leon Littlebird, and Wooden Rain. All of these presentations have offered alternative ways of learning for the students. The programs have been well received by both the students and teachers and we feel very fortunate to have Articipate available to our community.
These programs combined have contributed to the current educational standards in music, social studies, geography, English, and foreign languages.
In an economy where cut backs are inevitable, Articipate provides a huge contribution to filling those gaps in education, particularly in the arts. Our current art program at Longfellow is only offered part-time. Programs through Articipate have been welcomed and actually counted on as an addition to our curriculum.
As a follow up to the programs, Articipate asks teachers, including myself, for input on surveys. The surveys are available to all students after each performance and a separate teacher survey is also been administered. The surveys ask for input on content, value, and ideas for what the schools want and need in the future.
I would like to again say thank you for the outstanding programs and opportunities that Articipate provides our students in this community as well as neighboring communities.
Sincerely,
Penny Kitson
