Our vision is that every child in our community should have access to an extraordinary public education. All students deserve rigorous academics and a broad array of beyond classroom educational experiences that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
Aspen Education Foundation champions public education, raising money to fund programs and positions of distinction. In partnership with school administrators and the community, we identify programs that we believe are vital for our students, but are not funded by the State of Colorado. We support academics, educators, students, and Aspen Public Schools (PK - 12).
Every person in Aspen benefits from strong public schools. For 25 years, the Aspen Education Foundation has raised money to make sure that funding gaps from the state are no longer a barrier to providing our children with the educational experiences and opportunities they deserve. Please help us continue to make our public schools exceptional.
Founded in 1991, the Aspen Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 fundraising organization that partners closely with school administrators and the community to identify and fund in-school or beyond classroom programs across our five schools. Over the years, AEF has played a critical role in investing in the educational experiences that our community has come to appreciate and expect, including: Outdoor Education, Math and Literacy Support, Intervention Services, STEAM, International Baccalaureate, and College Counseling.
