Assistance League of Denver (ALD) has been serving the greater Denver community since 1958.
A nonprofit organization powered primarily by volunteers, ALD helps vulnerable children and adults through innovative programs tailored to the needs of our community. In our fiscal year ending May 2024, Assistance League of Denver served 16,163 people and returned $1,030,868 to meet the needs of people in our community. ALD’s mission is to transform lives by collaborating with schools, families, and seniors to enhance educational experiences and improve health and well being.
Our philanthropic programs target underserved populations in two areas: Students and Families and Health and Well-being. Key to the success of these programs is to incorporate community feedback to ensure we are addressing acute needs as well as providing ongoing, transformational support. Last year our members devoted 34,553 hours to service.
