The Aurora Police Foundation is honored to work with the Aurora Police Department in providing education, training and the latest technology to help them continue to serve and protect their community.
The Foundation gave us the ability to train our officers to lead not just our department and officers, but to also partner with local departments. It will create unity within many department leadership and help us provide safety in a more significant manner.
The mission of the Aurora Police Foundation is to support the operations of the Aurora Police Department by providing grants for officer training, equipment, supplies and support community involvement.
When the tragedy of the Theater shooting happened in 2012, the community came together to discover ways to work together for a safer community. The Aurora Police Foundation was created to help assist the Aurora Police Department and the community to find ways to create a safer community.
