Background Statement

The Aurora Symphony Orchestra (ASO) - founded in 1978 - provides orchestral music to the residents of Aurora and the surrounding area as one of the leading cultural organizations in the community. The orchestra presents five (5) annual concert performances and music educational opportunities for individuals, families, and children. Additionally, the ASO engages with other local non-profit arts and community organizations to enhance and promote the arts, volunteer opportunities and education throughout the region.
