We started BV HOPE in 2014 because of the increasing danger of human trafficking in the United States. We now educate Buena Vista, CO citizens to prevent trafficking in our community. Our efforts are concentrated on school-aged children. We also work with adults, parents, grandparents, teachers, law enforcement, first responders, department of human services, and the medical community. Recently we are expanding these efforts to other communities nearby. That is why our name is Bringing our Valley HOPE now because we are reaching our whole valley with education to prevent human trafficking.

Our new goal is to support survivors by opening a residential home for adult women of human trafficking. It will be a two-year program. Its mission is to offer a safe sanctuary and to provide tools for women residents who are survivors of human trafficking, enabling rehabilitation of their body, mind, and spirit.

Mission

Our mission is to prevent human trafficking through education and to support survivors.
