The Boulder Housing Partners Foundation is working to address inequities in our community by providing access to opportunities for children, families, older adults, and people with disabilities so that all BHP residents will thrive.
The Foundation meets a wide range of resident needs, including:
Bringing School Home - an innovative program geared toward children 0-6 that allows access to education-enriched housing provided by BHP, as well as community centers with libraries, computers, Wi-Fi, and spaces designed for classes and programs for children and parents.
Intergenerational Interactions - we create opportunities for our older and younger residents to share time, opportunity and experiences in order to build even stronger supportive networks.
Transition from Homelessness - many of our households join us from an unsheltered experience and your contributions help them with furniture and home furnishings.
Building Great Communities - your contributions fund community gardens, resident-generated activities, outings and educational ventures.
Resident Resilience & Retention - your contribution builds a Resident Emergency Fund to fund those life events that can jeopardize employment, well-being or housing.
The BHP Foundation works closely with community partners to connect essential programs to provide parents and children, older adults and people with disabilities access to a full range of opportunities.
We believe that it takes a village to raise a child. Please join our village and support our residents to thrive.
We believe in housing first, but not only.

Testimonials
"I have three daughters and one son, and I live with them and my husband. I am very happy since I signed with Boulder Housing Partners. Being in this housing has really changed our lives since they help us pay less rent. But the most important part is the connection with the program coordinators. We have received a lot of help from them with information, and I have attended the programs for parents and parenting programs. I feel happy that I have learned a lot on how to have a better relationship with my kids. Before, I had a strenuous relationship with them and now I have a better one. Before I yelled when things didn't go well with them, but now I have more patience. With the programs, I truly feel different. Now I listen, and I make decisions together with my family and they are in the programs for parents and teachers. Being here has changed my life. Thank you to everyone who has participated with my family." --Program Participant

The mission of the Boulder Housing Partners Foundation is to help BHP residents pursue successful, productive and dignified lives by mobilizing resources for supportive, life-enriching, and community building services. Our vision: Inclusive and healthy communities, where all residents have access to the necessary resources, opportunities, and supports to thrive.
The BHP Foundation was incorporated in 2000 as a response to reduced funding of critical services for residents of affordable housing. The Foundation works closely with Boulder Housing Partners, the housing authority for the City of Boulder, which provides service-enriched affordable housing to more than 2,000 households in the Boulder area.
Though traditional funding channels (HUD, the City of Boulder, grants, and loans) help BHP provide its residents with physical housing, many of BHP's families need additional support and services to thrive and become self-sufficient. The BHP Foundation helps identify resources that BHP and its community partners can use to provide residents with these critical services in order to improve their lives.
