Background Statement
Rooted in Jewish culture, we envision a community where everyone feels valued, connected, and celebrated. We are a home for community that builds relationships, embraces differences, and embodies what Jewish life can be.
About This Cause
The Boulder Jewish Community Center (JCC) believes that relationships provide meaning and add value to our lives. We help people find connections in Boulder County and beyond in a way that resonates with them. At its core, the Boulder JCC is a place to build relationships and learn—a community hub for togetherness and vibrant Jewish life. We provide space and opportunities for anyone looking to grow and connect with their neighbors. Our programs and services span early childhood through adult education, arts and culture, farm, sustainability, and more to offer essential care for the community and its ever-changing needs.
Our program areas include:
• The Jay and Rose Phillips Early Childhood Center is one of the best Boulder Preschools, providing a quality early childhood education program where learning is facilitated through play, discovery, and inquiry. Children explore their environment using dramatic play, music, art, sensory experience, movement, and language. For the '24-'25 school year, we have over 170 children enrolled, ranging from infants (8 weeks) to pre-K. While the number and amount of scholarships vary annually, in ‘23-’24, 61% of our families received scholarships and/or some form of tuition assistance through the Boulder JCC. Supporting families in our community is critical to our mission, and we continue to work towards increasing the resources available to make our early childhood education programs accessible to all.
• The Library houses a teacher resource center and is Boulder County residents' primary Jewish educational and informational resource.
• Day Camps, After-School Programs, School-Day off programs, and Teen Programs offer a variety of specialty camps and programs rooted in Jewish values and welcoming youth of all ages, backgrounds, races, and religions.
