Mission

The core purpose of Boulder Junior Cycling is to develop, coach and inspire junior cycling athletes.

Background Statement

Boulder Junior Cycling (BJC) is a year-round youth cycling program in Boulder, Colorado. Our mission is to develop, coach and inspire junior cyclists. Founded in 2006, we have nearly 500 members and have grown into a highly respected development team.

BJC provides programs for all abilities in mountain biking, cyclocross, and road cycling. We have a professional coaching staff of more than 50 that bring a high level of training, experience, and passion for cycling.

Our focus is on developing fundamental cycling skills, teaching life lessons through sport, and a sequential curriculum that follows kids as they develop from beginners to lifelong cyclists.
