Hi there,

Welcome!

Did you know that approximately 1 in 5 people have dyslexia? That's up to 20% of students who have it, and it can range from mild to profound. It's the number one reason bright students struggle with spelling, writing, and reading.  Welcome to Bridging the Gaps Dyslexia Center. If your child struggles with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, or ADHD, we can help. We use explicit, multisensory, systematic, sequential evidence and research-based systems. Our new cognitive skills program, developed by neuropsychologists and cognitive skills experts, helps focus exclusively on training the underlying cognitive skills that make learning possible. We help people learn better by improving their cognitive functioning. Look around our website, learn more about us, and find out why are so passionate about helping the 1 in 5.  https://www.bridgingthegapsdyslexiacenter.com/

Mission

Our mission is to provide effective tools, resources, and support for parents, teachers, and students through dyslexia awareness training, their comorbilities, assessments, evidence-based solutions, and collaboration with community partners to achieve success for dyslexic students.

We have 4 pillars we follow:

1. Awareness: We create awareness of dyslexia and its comorbilities in the community by providing dyslexia seminars and teacher/parent training on the signs and symptoms, myths, what works, and classroom and homework accommodations.

2. Assess: We identify and screen for dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, and ADHD. Our referred doctor screens for ADHD, and a dyslexia specialist screens for dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia.

3. Answers: Our effective reading program, an Orton-Gillingham-based intervention, is an explicit, multisensory, systematic, and sequential curriculum that the experts recommend.

4. Allies: We partner with the local community businesses of Greeley and Northern Colorado, which want to see dyslexic students achieve the success they deserve.
