Carbondale Education Foundation

The Carbondale Education Foundation was founded as a new 501(c)3 in 2023 with the goal of bringing our community together in support of Carbondale’s public schools.  

We are a group of parents and school administrators who are passionate about elevating the educational and life experiences for all public school students. Our goal is to help bridge the gap between the public funding that is provided for Carbondale public schools and what is actually needed to help our students, teachers, and schools to thrive.

CEF is investing in Carbondale’s tomorrow by providing needs-assessed and impact-based support to our public education system today.  Our focus is on funding initiatives that can have the greatest impact for students, teachers and administrators at Crystal River Elementary School, Carbondale Middle School, Roaring Fork High School, Carbondale Community School, Ross Montessori School and Bridges High School.
