As a small non-profit, we rely on the support of caring people in our community as we give a voice to children who have been abused, neglected, or witnessed domestic violence in Pitkin, Garfield, and Rio Blanco counties. Monetary donations qualify for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit.
Testimonials
Longitudinal studies have shown that children with a CASA spend on average 8 months less in foster care than children without a CASA volunteer, are half as likely to re-enter the foster care system, more likely to be adopted, and more likely to have a plan for permanency. Simply put, children with a CASA are more likely to find a safe, permanent home.
