The Castle Rock Chamber Foundation was established in April 2017 and is dedicated to advancing the quality of life in Castle Rock and Douglas County through education, Talent Pipeline development/ Workforce development, leadership and community involvement.
Building on the legacy of the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1955, the Foundation continues to strengthen community impact through purposeful giving and partnerships.
Leadership Douglas County was established in 1999 by the Castle Rock Chamber, with its first graduating class in 2000.
Celebrating its 25th year, LDC’s goals are to inspire participants in the work they do; strengthen them and the organizations they serve; and facilitate a heightened sense of community connection to encourage individuals to take positions of civic and organizational leadership in the community.
Leadership Douglas County (LDC), a program of the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce, is committed to ensuring the continuity of knowledgeable and effective leadership in Douglas County. Today, Douglas County is the geographic center of Colorado and provides a blend of quality lifestyle and business environment.
Mission
The Castle Rock Chamber Foundation is dedicated to advancing the educational, social, economic, and cultural growth of the Castle Rock community. Our mission is to:
Foster leadership with an innovative vision for the future;
Forge partnerships between the business community, educational institutions, government, and non-profits; and
Serve as a resource for research, planning, and community education, helping to anticipate and address future challenges.
