Chaffee Arts programs include free student art classes, Open Awards Art Show, Art Walk, Artist Studio Tours, Rotating Art Exhibits, Recycling Art Markers, workshops, social and selling events. All programs are Free and Open to the Public.

Chaffee Arts mission is to support local artists, promote their art, and learn from one another. We strive to create a visual arts community in Chaffee County through education, shows, and arts collaborations thus adding to the artistic and economic vitality of our region.
Chaffee Arts (Chaffee County Council on the Arts) has been in existence since 1985 providing support for artists and providing free art programs for Chaffee County. The group has honored and celebrated artists in our community and has changed as the needs of the membership have changed. The signature event, Open Awards Art Show, has been held for over 30 years and continues to draw talented artists from across Chaffee County and the State of Colorado. Recently the group has expanded its' vision to provide free art classes for students and youngsters served by other non-profits. Collaborating with other groups and serving a wider community has resulted in growth of the Chaffee Arts membership. This re-vitalized organization is focused on financially sound growth in order to ensure its success for another 35 years.
