Chance Sports

Chance Sports, a Colorado non-profit, provides young athletes from lower-income families with financial support to participate in competitive club sports, and to learn leadership and team-building skills that will benefit them on and off the athletic field. Due to the high costs of club dues, tournament costs, travel, and equipment, children from low-income households are six times more likely to drop out of club sports than their high-income peers. Chance addresses this inequity by creating a level playing field for young athletes, so they can build lasting and impactful relationships and gain the experiences, opportunities, and life skills that will help them throughout their lives.
