Working to help children of all income levels communicate their wants and needs in their daily lives through speech, language, and hippotherapy!
"Our daughter who has spinal muscular atrophy has been working with Karen for over 1 year to improve her language and social skills. Karen is very knowledgeable and has doing a wonderful job when she comes to our house or during hippotherapy. Our daughter has been speaking more clearly and more secure to communicate with other kids." -Client's parent
"My daughter was so excited over the horses, and loved caring for them The changes in her when she was on the horse were very notable. I could go on and on about the therapeutic benefits the horses provide not only in My daughter, but in the other riders as well. But what I really need to mention is that Children's advisory network has wonderful volunteers working for them who selflessly give their time and effort for these riders. They genuinely care about the people they are working with, and I just want to thank them.We are greeted warmly every time. My daughter is very in tune with peoples feelings, and I know that she senses the love and caring that surrounds her." -Client's parent
Children's Advisory Network is working to help children of all income levels communicate their wants and needs in their daily lives through speech/language therapy, hippotherapy, and speech, hearing & vision screenings in Douglas, Arapahoe, and Jefferson Counties.
In 1995 the Colorado Advisory Network was established to help parents advocate for their children in the system. In 2005 the name was changed to Children's Advisory Network and adopted more intensive services with in-home speech - language therapy along with assisting parents who need to advocate for their child in the public school system. Over the years, Children's Advisory Network has incorporated a Hippotherapy (Wee Ride) Program and a Screening (Wee Screen) Program. Along with an education outreach program (Wee Teach), Children's Advisory Network now works to help children with speech and language (Wee Speak) difficulties in their home, private school, or through hippotherapy.
