Colorado Artists in Recovery (CAiR) was born from the idea that people recovering from substance misuse have remarkable talents within them and, if nurtured and encouraged, these talents have the power to heal. In short, we create space for people in recovery to grow into new horizons of personal freedom.

CAiR utilizes recovery-oriented principles to provide a safe, encouraging, and inclusive environment for people affected by substance use and mental health. Through our workshops and events we nurture their creative expression and help them create meaningful connection.

Our FREE workshops teach skills in creative expression and encourage participants to share their work and build a network of supportive peers. To date we have offered over 300 recovery-oriented workshops per year to over 8000 individuals in our community. We believe that this peer-to-peer network is essential in sustaining a happy life in recovery.

By making a donation, you help us keep our workshops free and accessible to everyone seeking a creative path to recovery.
