ColoRail, also known as the Colorado Rail Passenger Association, is the largest and oldest rail advocacy group in Colorado. We are diligently working to get Front Range Passenger Rail implemented between Fort Collins and Pueblo, expanded Mountain Rail service to Craig, Steamboat, Grand Junction, and along the Eagle River Valley, expanded Amtrak service throughout Colorado.
We also administer and manage the Winter Park Express host program, without which, the Winter Park Express could not operate. We cannot do our work without support from people like you. Your donation today is a vote for more and better passenger trains throughout our wonderful state.
Our past successes include the implementation of the Winter Park Express, the creation of the Front Range Passenger Rail District, and preservation of the Southwest Chief through southeastern Colorado.

Passenger trains are many times safer than our system of automobiles on roads. Trains can operate reliably in almost all weather conditions. They provide a comfortable and relaxed setting where riders may work, converse, or rest during their trip. They use much less energy and create considerably less air pollution than cars. They provide travel choices for those who either cannot or do not wish to drive or fly. Rail is the backbone of public transit.
