The Colorado Society of Hispanic Genealogy is a member supported non profit organization. The CSHG has been in existence for over 38 years. We service the Hispanic population of Colorado, numbering 1.274 million, 2022 US Census. We offer monthly presentations, a quarterly journal and free use of our extensive library collections. We promote genealogy research for members and non members. Again, our organization is member supported with at present having 250 members.

Mission
Our mission is to promote genealogy research, especially for the Hispanic Community. We encourage our members to research, document and share the History and stories of their ancestors. We offer monthly presentations, a quarterly journal and free use of our extensive library collection. We encourage members, young or old, local or distant to join our Society and contribute to the documentation of our History.

Background Statement
The Colorado Society of Hispanic Genealogy (CSHG) is a member supported non profit organization and tax exempt, under section 501(c)(3). The CSHG Library has a unique archival collection of historical documents, rare, collectible and unusual genealogy related items. Collected over years by its members, the CSHG has an archive of church records, US Census Records, books and hundreds of personal and family genealogy records. Since its inception the CSHG has published a quarterly journal.
