The Colorado Motor Carriers Foundation grants scholarships to individuals for the purposes of continuing their education and provides funds to organizations that: 1. promote and prepare materials for distribution on public safety as it relates to the trucking industry and its commitment to sharing the road safely with all vehicles; 2. develops leadership or mentoring programs to fortify trucking businesses and the communities they serve; 3. actively participates in presentations, workshops, seminars or similar institutional endeavors relating to industry safety initiatives at the local, state and federal levels; and 4. conducts technical studies, and provides for the publication thereof, dealing with the economic, regulatory and environmental advancements of the trucking industry.
