Mission

To empower and support Veterans and transitioning service members in pursuit of vibrant careers, meaningful employment, and successful entrepreneurship to continue a meaningful life full of purpose and fulfillment.

Background Statement

Colorado Veterans Project stemmed from the Army ROTC student organization, Cadet Community Leadership Association. The organization filed for a 501(c)(7) status from the IRS in order to impact a larger audience.

Since 2008, the organization hosted the first Denver Veterans Day Run.

The expansion to a 501(c)(3) charitable organization was initiated to take on more projects, specifically: the Denver Veterans Day Parade and the Denver Veterans Day Festival.

Since our inception in January of 2014, Colorado Veterans Project has aligned with 100+ Veterans organizations and works alongside the Mayor's office to host the official Veterans Day activities for the City of Denver.
