Medical technology is helping us to live healthier, longer lives. That increased longevity comes with a challenge. Many people began their financial planning more than 50 years ago with the expectation that their money would last for their lifetime. But in some cases they are outliving their bank account and other assets. That's when they turn to Benevolent Care. Covenant Living of Colorado residents may apply for financial assistance from Benevolent Care.

Testimonials

Annette Grandin was a resident a Covenant Retirement Community. She lived a fruitful life helping others in the nursing profession and eventually was a associate director at a school of nursing. Annette built a modest nest egg to help her live modestly in retirement. She stretched her Social Security and retirement funds in a responsible way. Unfortunately Annettes well ran dry and needed help.

Covenant Benevolent Care meant one thing to Annette, She would have a home and the help she needed as she aged.

Mission

Covenant Living Communities and Services celebrates God’s gift of life in Christian community. We follow the Great Commandment to live and serve God and one another as taught by Jesus Christ. We follow the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” That compels us to affirm the dignity of each person and to pursue excellence and financial integrity in all that we do.

We care for those in true financial need. One way we do this is through Benevolent Care. Benevolent Care, is a program that provides monthly financial assistance to eligible Covenant Living of Colorado residents who have outlived their financial resources by no improper cause.

Background Statement

Residents at Covenant Living communities across the country choose to live in an environment filled with faith, friends, community, and service. The Benevolent Care Fund helps our community members who have been good financial stewards, yet have outlived their resources and can no longer afford the services or care they need. It’s about care and compassion, instilling peace of mind, and knowing the community you’ve come to call home is here for you – through thick or thin.
