For more than five decades the Crested Butte Arts Festival has been an iconic feature of summer in Crested Butte.
The CBAF produces an uplifting environment which stimulates personal inspiration and creates a public space where diverse facets of our community - connect, express themselves and feel seen.
More than just an annual event, the festival serves as a fundraising vehicle to sustain our local creative communities. Profits generated from the festival are annually redistributed to local artists and organizations through our Artistic Enrichment Grant fund and through our educational, Student Art Showcase program.
The Crested Butte Society (dba Crested Butte Arts Festival), awakens and nurtures artistic enrichment throughout the Gunnison Valley. We present the annual Crested Butte Arts Festival to sustain cultural vibrancy, advocate for a thriving creative community, and financially support local artistic programs.
